Structural Engineering

Seismic design of steel structures (bolted and welded) and reinforced concrete structures. Geotechnical simulation and design of fundations and retaining structures. Design of special structures such as tanks, pressure equipment, heat exchangers, flares and chimneys.
The analysis performed space between the most common static analysis and non-linear static analysis (including pushover) to the more advanced linear dynamic and non-linear time-history analysis.
Detailed modeling of steel junctions is made with the actual most advanced specialized software on the market and, contemporary, with 3D FE models defined and analized with the most used and known general pourpose FE software in the mechanical and aerospatial field.
Calculations and analysis are carried out, case-by-case, in accordance with the principal regulations accepted nationally and internationally: NTC, Eurocode, NV, ASME, API, ANSI, AISC, ASCE, DIN and BS.

Building Information Modeling

3D model preparation with Building Information Modelinglogics.
Building modeling is performed with high standardization and personalization levels of the software environment in order to quickly prepare large and higly detailed models, keeping the database neat and reliable in the long term.
The advanced use of the Tekla®, together with ripetitive control activities, allow to efficiently develop the model, the drawings and to get all those information needed to organize the orders, the workshop processing and the final on-site assembly.

Drafting

Performing a detailed tridimensional modeling it is possible to produce general assemply, assembly and workshop drawings, reports and all the rebar detailing necessary for reinforced concrete structures.

Hydraulic Design

Design of hydraulic nets for water supplying (potable, non-potable, fire-fighting) in Oil & Gaspioneering camps.
The plants designed were located in much different and, sometimes, troublesome places such as Mozambique and Azerbaijan.
Taking advantage of the BIM software available we managed to automate the plant drawings generation (general layout and net nodes) as well as the parts computation (pipes, special parts, valves, manholes, siphones, etc) and also the evaluation of soil volumes for excavation and backfilling.
